The Andromeda Strain

I slyly hijack Robin Cook's title, but there is a story here.

The coolest bar (4 years ago) in Beijing was the Centro at the Kerry Center Hotel. This story involves their current resident jazz singer.

(pleasantries)
"I'm CY"
"I'm Andromeda"
(double take)
"Yeah, my parents were, like, you know, hippies".

I say. Anyway Andromeda has the nicest... well everything. Great singer, sweet mover and pearly whites that you want to take home. Too bad she's only free on Sundays.

How disappointing that she knew Whatever Lola Wants and My Baby Only Cares For Me, but her accompanists did not know either.

But the woman - ay carramba. Yo puedo existir enamorado con ella, siempre.
