Tale of two cities: Melbourne vs Sydney

Rabble rouser alert - here is a another pointless comparison of two cities. And the winner is... Sydney.

Sorry "Melburnians" (you lost the battle right there) - but as someone characterized your city, it is a bit like Boston to Sydney's New York. Sure, there is all the sports stuff, some nice riverside promenades and conveniently legalized brothels. But Sydney feels more like a real city. Apart from the various harbors, nice architecture, a big city feel in its buildings, density and transport system, it has an x-factor.

So, from someone who is decidedly biased toward dense city living, I give this one to Sydney.
